As a final output from the Women in Manx Politics project, in April 2026 we ran two events on the Isle of Man – one aimed at young voters voting in their first Manx General Election; and another aimed at those considering standing for election to the House of Keys in this General Election.
Due to technical problems, we weren’t able to record these live as planned; but we have now produced videos with the content we covered on the night.

These are the last planned activities emerging from the Women in Manx Politics project. So a good moment to express our thanks to everyone who made the project possible – notably Culture Vannin, Oxford Brookes University, University College of the Isle of Man, and everyone who shared their time and insights with us during the project.
It was a really interested multiyear project, and I was blessed with two excellent colleagues in Catriona Mackie and Alex Powell. We all brought something different to the project, and the project was without doubt stronger for that. So personal thanks to Catriona and Alex.
